Dad: Why do you think they do that?
Girl: Because the companies who make these try to trick the girls into buying the pink stuff instead of stuff boys want to buy. [x]
that awkward moment when a child understands the harm of forcing gender roles better than most grown male politicians.
I just had a dream, where the moral of it was ..at the end of the world when the apocalypse is at your feet. your true love will be the one to save the day, and make the world a better place again. In my dream the other looking at the city aflame, on the building they stood on, time seeming to stand still as embers descended less like a gravitational pull, but more like a freeze frame. Looks all around at the destruction and carnage, her saver holding her hand gently, blonde and fair skinned, all the while calm and in control. “I’ve always loved you, from the moment i first saw you.” Says the one being saved. “I know” was the reply. the one who did the save was asked,”how did you know? what took so long?” she replied, “sometimes we meet halfway in a place where we’re both on the same page, sometimes, someone has to wait for the other to get there.”
